I Enjoy Creating and Promoting Products

Data science and marketing have been my main focus in recent years, as they intersect in leveraging data-driven insights to optimize strategies, enhance user experiences, and drive business growth. By applying machine learning, statistical analysis, and AI-driven models, I develop solutions that improve decision-making, personalize marketing efforts, and maximize the impact of digital campaigns.

Market research, digital marketing, strategy, data analytics, branding, public relations, and storytelling are the areas I can contribute to companies working with them.

I love Startups!

I love growing and learning, which are two foundations of startups. Although I have experience working in established organizations in the retail, tourism, and education industries, I have always preferred joining startup teams which is like a new adventure for me every time. I have many failures, but I was lucky to build two successful startups, Lingano and Bookapo, from the ground up.

What have I spent most of my time learning about?

Digital Marketing

Applying marketing principles to reach more customers using tools like Google ads, Facebook ads, SEO, social media, etc.

Data Science

Leveraging data to extract valuable insights, optimize decision-making, and build predictive models using tools like Python, SQL, and statistical analysis.

Strategy

Gaining a deep understanding of how to create a business strategy efficiently using tools like SWOT and competitor analysis, the Mckinsey 7-S framework, BCG matrix, etc.

Business Analytics

Building mathematical models from data, generating helpful insights to guide decisions, and determining the suitable courses of action for the company.

Behavorial Economics

Studying the science which combines psychology and economics to investigate why people make irrational decisions, and their behavior does not follow the predictions of economic models.

Machine Learning

Developing algorithms that enable systems to learn and improve from data, applying techniques like deep learning, reinforcement learning, and predictive modeling.

My Academic Background

I earned my bachelor’s and master’s in engineering at Amirkabir University of Technology (Tehran Polytechnic), specializing in construction management. After working as a civil engineer and project manager, I transitioned to the tech industry, focusing on data-driven decision-making, digital marketing, and AI-driven business strategies. To strengthen my expertise, I completed a part-time MBA and later pursued a Master of Data Science (MDS) at UBC, equipping me with advanced analytics and AI skills to drive growth in tech startups.
